  2. Body of Mine

Body of Mine allows you to experience gender dysphoria by inhabiting the body of another gender. Combining body, face, and eye tracking that allows you to completely transform into someone else with real audio interviews of trans individuals, this full-body VR experience takes you on an intimate exploration of gender, identity, and what it means to be a human being.

With the rise in hate crimes, transphobia, and anti-trans legislation, we stand at the forefront, using immersive technology as a tool for empathy and understanding. We believe full immersion has the potential to radically transform hearts and minds. Body of Mine is an embodiment of this belief. Within the privacy of a headset, gender queer individuals are able to explore their gender in a way that may not be safe in the real world, while cisgender audiences can more intimately and deeply connect to trans interviews. We seek to build a safe space for connection, exploration, and transformation, when a safe space in the real world can be hard to find.

  4. Floating With Spirits

In this cinematic VR, magical stories are told by two young Mazatec, indigenous sisters Jocelynne and Jaquelyne, who recall the ancestral knowledge and mystical cosmogony that their shaman grandmother used to share with them, in the misty mountains of Oaxaca, Mexico. Their village lies amidst giant Ceiba trees and rivers full of life. Nature breathes and, within, preserves the memories of this community. The landscape that surrounds them is full of knowledge. While preparing for the Day of the Dead, they share the stories of their ancestors. During these special days, the spirits of their loved ones descend into the world of the living, guided by the light of the candles and the glow of the Cempasuchil flowers on the altars. The girls’ imagination transports us into the world of the spirits of their ancestors and the spirits of nature. A shamanic dance ritual opens a portal through which we can discover the secret worlds of four spirits of nature. 8. Gargoyle Doyle

Doyle is a grouchy, self-important gargoyle with a major chip on his shoulder—quite literally, as he was damaged in a fall during installation above the cathedral’s main entrance. Relegated to a back alcove with other irregular gargoyles, Doyle resents the hand life dealt him, especially the fact that he is stuck two feet from Chet, a decorative metal rain gutter. Chet is the yin to Doyle’s yang, a chatterbox optimist who never shuts up. Ever. Doyle and Chet watch the world change around them as their alcove falls into disrepair.
Hundreds of years later, as bulldozers surround the cathedral for demolition, facts are revealed about Chet’s mysterious origin. Both must confront who they really are and what their lives add up to.
The first cinematic narrative for the era of spatial computing, taking the visitor seamlessly between augmented reality and virtual reality as an enigmatic guide transports you into the world of the characters, while also bringing those characters out to share your world.

  9. Aufwind

Aufwind is an immersive virtual reality film and tells the story of Charlotte Möhring and Melli Beese, the first German female pilots who want to make it in the male domain of aviation and obtain a pilot’s license. Our story takes place in the industrial Ruhr area of western Germany in 1912, where Charlotte and Melli meet on the occasion of an airship christening. While some men want to keep women away from flying and are not afraid to manipulate the planes and put the female pilots in danger, Charlotte and Melli fight for their dream and, as pioneers, shape the early history of aviation. This film draws the audience completely into the story and lets them feel wind, smell and movement through a motion seat. The participants are brought in as characters and become emotionally involved when they are directly addressed by the main characters, fly an airplane or drive a car themselves. Aufwind was created using the new volumetric capturing technology.

  10. Shadowtime

“You are in two worlds at the same time. Your body is in the other world, but your heart is in this one.” To exist in the virtual world is to have two bodies, four hands, two hearts. Alma, a mysterious guide to this double world, leads you through questions around the climate crisis, irreconcilable realities, and the virtual as a place to take shelter.

Shadowtime is a new word coined for our age, describing the feeling of occupying two irreconcilable times simultaneously. It is being stuck in a traffic jam on your way to work and realising that the gas in your engine is the compressed mass of prehistoric creatures.
It is scrolling through your phone and remembering that the earth is changing irrevocably. In Shadowtime, we take these temporal incompatibilities and explore them in the realm of virtual reality and simulation theory.
