1. Een latente meertaligheid

   Een latente meertaligheid is een interactieve tekstcompilatie die uitmondt in een steeds wisselende polyfone woord-beeldcompositie. De bezoeker kan naar eigen inzicht de zes sequenties waaruit dit werk is opgebouwd, aanzetten, in elkaar laten vloeien of weer uitzetten. Dit filmpje is onderdeel van het project Zelf worden.

2. Welkom Vreemdeling (Welcome Stranger)

   Welcome stranger is ontworpen voor wachtruimtes en bestaat uit een animatie van dansende letters die steeds nieuwe verbanden vormen. Het geheel is gebaseerd op de uiteenlopende namen waarmee het spel ‘stoelendans’ in verschillende talen wordt aangeduid. Het werk kwam tot stand in het kader van het project Poëzie op het scherm, dat eens in de twee jaar gezamenlijk door het Nederlands Letterenfonds en het Mondriaan Fonds (voorheen Fonds BKVB) is georganiseerd.

4. Trujillo poeem

   'Trujillo' spreekt voor zich en is pas geslaagd wanneer het spontaan tot meerdere lezingen/ herhaaldelijk bekijken aanzet! Het stelt tevens de romantische kunstenaarsopvatting aan de orde (met de roos als leidmotief): een beetje kunstenaar moet groots kunnen afzien. Anders gezegd een beetje schrikbewind legt de kunst geen windeieren: doe er vooral uw maal mee!

5. Ah (a shower song)

   Ah articulates a simple paradox of reading animated digital literature, which is that the eye, and by extension the mind, often has no sense of the future of a sentence or line of text and, more importantly, is not given the chance to retread an already witnessed word or phrase. Young-Hae Chang Heavy Industry's Dakota is a perfect illustration of this principle. In Ah, the central object of rumination is Einstein, but just as the physicist pondered the numberless variations between the presence of a "1" and "0," this Flash animation brings us back and forth between clever articulations and the ambiguous expressivity of single letters and syllables.

6. Reimbox

   Die Reimbox ist ein Gedichtgenerator, der algorhithmisch Gedichte generieren und vorlesen kann. Die generierten Gedichte sind metrisch geordnet und gereimt. Die Reimbox wurde nicht darauf hin trainiert, sinnvolle Texte zu erstellen, vielmehr soll gezeigt werden, wie kreativ eine Maschine mit Sprache umgehen kann. Die Reimbox verführt den Zuhörer zurück in die Zeit des Dadaismus, in der versucht wurde, die künstlich auferlegten Grenzen der Sprache zu sprengen. Die Reimbox soll zudem verdeutlichen, wie sehr sich unsere Vorstellungen von Begriffen wir „Autor“, „Werk“ und „Kreativität“ durch die Anwendung und Verbreitung von algorhithmischer Literatur einem Paradigmenwechsel unterziehen werden müssen.

7. Textual Skyline

   Our webscapes and netvilles are increasingly dominated by short bursts of emotional language, brief stabs of charged textual opinion. And every minute those words build small cities of influence, beauty and terror, creating brief communities of poetic power. Textual Skyline explores these notions through a net­-based interactive, generative and multidimensional flash engine/interface using RSS news feeds to create a digital poetry city.

8. Electric Poem

   November of 1960, date of the “Electric Poem”, by Albertus Marques (1930-2005), can be considered as the pioneering time of a poetic experience with the electronic media. It is

   "one electric poem, in which the energy is supplied through piles. The reader pushes a button and it appears in the center of the screen - white field - the word END. Until the moment that the person completes the action of pushing the contact, anything is revealed, or else, the possibility and the power of an action. As soon as the reader releases the button, the word disappears, therefore its emergence and permanence depend exclusively on the action of pushing the contact." (MARQUES, 1977, p. 156).

   To the similarity of the future electronic poetries, and reminding the 0 and 1 of the binary system, the poem demands the reader's interaction that will produce meanings starting from the white field, button and of his/her initiative of pressing it.
