  1. A Slow Year: Game Poems

A collection of four one kilobyte games for the Atari Video Computer System, one for each season, about the experience of observing things. Neither action nor strategy, each game requires a different kind of sedate observation and methodical input. Accompanying the game are essays about the commonalities between videogames and poetry and 1,024 machined haiku—poetry generated by computer—8 bits worth for each season. 2. 8 Brincadeiras para Salette Tavares

8 brincadeiras para Salette Tavares [8 games for Salette Tavares] is a set of eight texts which constitute a creative research in the area of cyberliterature. A polyphony of varied elements and variables, subject to a non-linear staging, in the center of these texts there are combinatorial and generative procedures in dialogue with the poetry and textual innovation of Portuguese author Salette Tavares. The average duration for reading this collection of eight texts is about eight minutes. Every 55 seconds, the page with the combinatorial or animated texts automatically redirects to a new work. Included in this work there are 6 combinatorial texts programmed by Rui Torres using the software for literary creation Poemario (Torres and Ferreira).

  6. Love is in the air (first performance)

The idea is to create a structure online, where authors, but also soundengineers, videoartists and graphicaldesigners kan make contributions to the same history-universe, with special emphazies on the litetterary. The history should not be understood in a lineary sense, but rather as an experience of a story where each piece ( picture, sound) could be experienced unchronologically. The way [the author does] this is by creating a text-concept that can be visualized in a graphical form. The authors have to pertain to this form and place their text in a visual room. Their text will then become apparent as a visual grapical element in relations to the other elements. The reason [the author] calls it a "performance" is because the creation of this little universe is being controlled by [the author] and will transpire over several days. Contributers are placed in several countries and everything will be run online, by email and ICQ. And probably a phonecall or two.

  9. Verrà H.P. e avrà i tuoi occhi

"Verrà H.P. e avrà i tuoi occhi" is a story of a love that has split. It is the story of the father. It's the story of a game that has no rules, it's the delirium of a sick person. It is a story that does not want to become a novel, but that must be told the same, going back, imagining what could have happened. Imagining all the things that could have happened. Provided that the connection does not fall.

The story begins in contemporary France, where a couple of young students are struggling with an archaeological discovery capable of changing their lives and transporting them to places and times that are definitely unexpected. Suitable for adults and children, it consists of nine chapters full of twists, in which the reader actively participates in the unfolding of the affair and the solution of problems.
