  1. Um estudio em vermelho

Marcel Spalding's Um Estudo em Vermelho (in English, A Study in Scarlet) is a detective story with eight possible endings, which are defined by the reader's choices in three decisive moments. The technique used is the combinatorial analysis in order to make the endings have straight relation with the path chosen by the reader along the reading.

  2. Heartbeat

  4. The Tunnel People

The Tunnel People project is a work originally created for the exhibition "Metropolis", which was developed in two platforms. On the one hand the hypertext is a story of multiple paths presenting the fiction of mysterious inhabitants living in the underground. On the other hand there were a series of performances played by three actors, two men and one woman inside of trains traveling from North to South in Brussels subway. The actions and dialogues written by Dora García and performed by the actors try to awaken on the user the need to decide if the situation created by the performances can be accepted as real or if he/she has been trapped in a representation which aim is unknown. The questions that this project wants to suggest are: What is the limit of the accepted behaviourby the audience? How a strange situation can be felt as familiar? When does a conversation becomes absurd? Is it true that thruth is under the earth?

  8. The Dionaea House

The Dionaea House is a horror hypertext fiction with a plot revolving around a predatory, supernatural house which exists in multiple places at once. The work's title references the Latin name of the Venus flytrap (Dionaea Muscipula), a carnivorous plant with multiple heads which uses scent to lure in insects, that it then traps and consumes.

The Dionaea House’s story is split into multiple, loosely connected parts, each either hosted as an individual website or a blog.

The central hub of the story was hosted on a website entitled "The Dionaea House: Correspondence from Mark Condry, September 6, 2004 - October 1, 2004". This site, maintained by a fictional version of the author Eric Heisserer, is split into into two sections. The first section details a series of emails received from Mark Condry, an old friend of Eric’s who has received a newspaper clipping in the mail describing a double murder and suicide committed by another old friend, Andrew. Mark decides to investigate, but disappears after sending a series of text messages from within a house that irrevocably changed Andrew.

  9. Nada tiene sentido

Nada tiene sentido (Nothing makes sense) by Isabel Ara and Iñaki Lorenzo is a digital diary whose narrator is desperate because he cannot get out of his bedroom, the only thing he can do is typing how he feels on his computer. Once we are reading and watching this autobiography we realize that we are reading the reflections of a schizophrenic person that finishes by losing the logical word order and whose identity is fragmented until it dissolves itself into the virtual space. 10. Psyco

"Psyco" by Felix Rémirez is about the conversation between a psychiatrist and a patient who suffers from schizophrenia. In this hypermedia the hypertext appears automatically without the reader's intervention in the reading process, the images and hypertext change rapidly and in some sequences the reader does not have enough time to read the whole story. The only option the reader can choose is clicking on underline sentences which give the reader descriptions of medical terms and information about a woman the patient was in love with. The patient explains that he is scared of some people who are at the back of the psychiatrist, the latter tries to distract him asking him to talk about the period in which he studied music. There is an open ending and the reader does not know if the patient attacks the nurse, the psychiatrist or himself at the end.
