  1. Boum!

  2. The Multiples Lives of Walter B.

    This artwork realized as a physical installation invites participants to explore how decisions can change a character's biography. The participants engage with the piece by physicallly interacting with objects and locations, creating a sensory experience. Inspired by motives from the life of media theorist and philosopher Walter Benjamin, the work is simultaneously an exploration of history, throught the lens of an individual character. The many junctures in his biography open up a space for speculation (what would have become of him if he had taken a different turn? What would have happened as a consequence?)

  3. the space between us

    the space between us connects two people’s phones that are physically close. Once connected the app will display the spatial distance between each person and show an arrow pointing towards the other person.

    --> is where you are

    --> is where I am

    As we move in different directions, our distances expand and contract. Our arrows move. Like a compass our phones will orient themselves towards each other, as if the other phone has become north. The arrow points away from the screen. Always, we are somewhere.

    Across horizons, deserts, days, nights, the grids of cities, we face each other.

  8. The Required Field

    The Required Field is an expansive interactive digital poem exploring the impact of policy documents, bureaucratic forms and the river of applications on our lives and our daily culture. Using twenty found and remixed government and corporate documents, the work poetically translates those overly complex and confusing forms.

    For example, a Tax Form for farmers will be recontextualized through an interactive image-‐map tour, transforming specific sections of the forms into poetic text and animated elements. Or a page from a Work Visa application will be created into a platform game, where the reader/player triggers poetry blasting bureaucracies through their game play.

    And in the end, The Required Field, builds from and then poetically destroys the bureaucratic cultures and their fields of red-‐tape, laws and policies for the sake of policies, the sub-‐section to a sub-‐section, part B stroke 9 for breathing.

There are only three things that player can alter. First, writing social media posts that generate „likes”. When you have enough likes, you can „code corvee” which provides beer. With beer, you go out where farming some weed is possible, weed can be exchanged for a social media post and so on. Every action is fulfilled with one mouse click. Gathering likes, beers and weed is creating mutually dependent loop that quickly becomes insufficient to generate income. Especially when your debt to Social Insurance Company is growing with every second.

  10. Lagunas

    Lagunas is a semi-algorithmically generated novel that users can download for free from the author's website and that doesn't have two identical versions. Published in 2015, it was originally Milton Läufer's Creative Writing in Spanish MFA thesis at New York University. The story happens in a pre-apocalyptical world where, with the increasing massification of 3D printers, the public has access to the production of different kind of weapons which results in an alarming number of terrorists attacks over the planet. Lagunas is been regarded also a novel about how memory works and its ever changing form is related with the way the past is always rewriting itself.
