  1. Anacrón: Hipótesis de un Producto Todo

Anacrón, Hipótesis de un producto todo is the vertiginous text that calls to the dead and the imagination. Both the subjects are attached to Mexican culture since ancient times and more than ever in our actual global society. Anacrón is an eclectic aesthetic e-poem that aims to respect the linear textual reading of the poem while it explores the boundaries of collaboration, multimedia and video game. Gabriel, the poet, and Augusto, the bandit. The entire project has developed without meeting each other. All communication has been done by e-mail. The journey starts when Augusto found an abandoned book called Caja over a couch in a Cafe at Puebla city. Of course, he stole both: the coffee and the book.

  4. Online Work: "Bicycle Built For Two Thousand" by Aaron Koblin and Daniel Massey

"Bicycle Built For Two Thousand" (2009) is an online work by Aaron Koblin and Daniel Massey.

The work is the product of 2000 people around the globe working together, although none of them knew about it.

The project includes 2,088 voice recordings collected through Amazon's Mechanical Turk web service.

Hired workers were prompted to listen to a short sound clip and then they had to record themselves imitating with their own voice what they heard.

Put together, these thousands of samples recreate “Daisy Bell”, a popular song from late 1800s.

    Why this song?

The song "Daisy Bell" originally written by Harry Dacre in 1892, was made famous in 1962 by John Kelly, Max Mathews, and Carol Lockbaum as the first example of musical speech synthesis.

In contrast to the 1962 version, "Bicycle Built For Two Thousand" was synthesized with a distributed system of human voices from all over the world.

The aim was to use countless human voices to create something digital.

  5. Buscando Al Sr. Goodbar (Looking for Mr. Goodbar)

“Buscando Al Sr. Goodbar” is a journey through Murcia, Spain that involves a search for the locations and authors of various YouTube videos produced in the city.

If the longitude and latitude coordinates are included with a video when publishing it on YouTube, then this video automatically appears on a GoogleEarth map and connects it to a physical location. A link is therefore made between the YouTube video and where it was produced in the city.

A bus tour was organized by Michelle Teran, who visited Murcia repeatedly via GoogleEarth and started to get to know intimately some of the people living there through the YouTube videos they produced. As the bus moved through the city, its movements along the streets were mirrored on a GoogleEarth map. YouTube videos were played corresponding to where they appeared on the map and could be viewed on a large flat screen.

  7. Voyeur With Dog

"Voyeur with Dog" was the first of many slideshow fiction works created by Richard Holeton. The text tells the story of a lonely middle-aged man, coming to terms with the potential loss of his aging, canine companion. The slides describe the behavior of the main character (simply called "The Man") after his divorce, his relationship with his dog and his struggle to connect with others. He has few relationships and spends his time dwelling on memories of his ex-wife and musing about the lives of his (female) neighbors, like the "Girl Next Door" and "Woman at the Sink." Though the Man describes his own appearance and demenour as off-putting, he notices that people, especially women, are drawn to his "beautiful" dog. In contrast to the Man, "the Dog" attracts and delights everyone without effort. Walking the Dog becomes a reprieve from solitude and a source of comfort. However, as the Dog ages and acquires health problems, the Man realizes that he will not always be able to rely on his pet for support.

Developed for Windows and the Wii console, the game was released in five episodic segments, between July and December 2009. In contrast to Telltale's previous episodic adventure games, whose chapters told discrete stories, each chapter of Tales of Monkey Island is part of an ongoing narrative. The game was digitally distributed through WiiWare and Telltale's own website, and later through Steam and Amazon.com. Ports for OS X, the PlayStation Network, and iOS were released several months after the series ended.
