1. Интернет и киберкультура в России

   История этого сборника сложна и несчастлива. Идея его прошла несколько фазисов развития. Первоначально я хотел издать сборник собственных статей про Интернет, но просмотрев имеющиеся, понял, что надо написать по крайней мере еще дюжину, чтобы хотя бы пунктирно охватить заявленную проблематику. Писать книгу - дело хлопотное; появилась идея собрать лучшие статьи, опубликованные в Net-культуре. Редакция Русского журнала эту идею с энтузиазмом поддержала. Однако мне захотелось включить в сборник тексты, опубликованные и в других изданиях, чтобы не упустить ничего важного. Список статей и объем сборника стали разрастаться; даже после троектратного урезания общий объем предполагаемой книги составил 600 с лишним книжных страниц. Начальство дало добро, разрешение от авторов было получено, началась работа с текстами - конвертирование в бумажный формат, вычитка, верстка. Книга должна была выйти из печати в апреле 2000 г. Но тут, как водится, грянул гром - обещанное финансирование издания отменилось, работы были свернуты. Все, что мне остается - издать эту книгу виртуально - в виде гипертекстового оглавления с отсылками к оригинальным публикациям.

5. Cybertext Yearbook Database

   The Cybertext Yearbook Series, started in 2000, quickly earned its reputation as one of "the best cutting-edge reads for the literary digerati" (American Book Review). In 2007 it will finally make the obvious non-trivial move and transform itself into the Cybertext Database, a FREE online publication. 6. Русская вирутальная библиотека

   Цели и задачи

   Целью Русской виртуальной библиотеки (РВБ) является электронная публикация классических и современных произведений русской литературы по авторитетным источникам с приложением необходимого справочно- комментаторского аппарата.

   В задачи РВБ входит:

   разработка и внедрение эффективных методов электронной издательской деятельности, основанных на использовании технологии SGML/XML;
   организационная и техническая поддержка независимых публикаторов, чья деятельность соответствует тематическому плану и эдиционным стандартам РВБ;
   создание сетевого научного сообщества, объединяющего публикаторов и комментаторов произведений русской литературы, специалистов в области электронных публикаций, а также разработчиков лингвистически ориентированного программного обеспечения;
   публикация произведений из списка-программы РВБ.

7. Rhizome Artbase

   Founded in 1999, the Rhizome ArtBase is an online archive of digital art containing over 2,500 art works. Encompassing a vast range of projects from artists all over the world, the ArtBase provides an online home for works that employ materials such as software, code, websites, moving images, games and browsers towards aesthetic and critical ends. The mission of the ArtBase is to provide free, open, and permanent access to a living and historic collection of seminal new media art objects.

   The ArtBase includes two types of art objects: Linked Objects and Archival Copies. Both, Linked Objects and Archival Copies, include information about an artwork ("metadata"), such as the artist's name, the date the project was created, the project's title, original URL, keywords, technologies used, an artist's statement and a thumbnail image. Artists who submit artworks as Linked Objects or Archival Copies provide us with such metadata, which we may then edit to ensure completeness, consistency and accuracy.

8. Ars Electronica Archive

   The Ars Electronica Archive Website shows information from over 30 years years of activities. The Archive collects documentation about events, people, artworks and publications digitally and as physical objects.

   The Prix Ars Electronica Showcase is a collection where all the artist submissions for the Prix since 1987 can be searched and viewed. The winning projects are documented with extensive information and audiovisual media, which can be seen and heard. All other submissions are displayed with the basic metadata in list form.

   The Pic Archive contains an extensive collection of pictures of Festival, Prix, Center, Futurelab and Export. The pictures from 2011 are identical to the Ars Electronica Flickr account. Older pictures are from a now obsolete version of a custom-made image filing system that has been migrated to the new structure.

9. ADA - Archive of Digital Art (former Database of Virtual Art)

   The Database of Virtual Art documents the rapidly evolving field of digital installation art. This complex, research-oriented overview of immersive, interactive, telematic and genetic art has been developed in cooperation with established media artists, researchers and institutions. The web-based, cost-free instrument – appropriate to the needs of process art – allows individuals to post material themselves. Compiling video documentation, technical data, interfaces, displays, and literature offers a unique answer to the needs of the field. All works can be linked with exhibiting institutions, events and bibliographical references. Over time the richly interlinked data will also serve as a predecessor for the crucial systematic preservation of this art.
