  1. AlletSator

    “Alletsator” is a hypermedia work that is best defined as a quantum opera, or perhaps in the final analysis a game – interactive, three-dimensional – where the present and the virtual intersect and mix. A hybrid hypermedia, therefore, in which the “spectactor” (immersed in an environment that is intended to be cosmic, magical, fantastic, dreamlike ...) is challenged to traverse the surface of a sequence of drawings. The work is a journey without ending. “Alletsator” is a computer generated narrative that allows an infinite potential of combinations. It is also an object of the new media art. It is a product and agent of the cyber culture that promises to revolutionize the world as we know it. The dramaturgy it needs is already anticipated in the metaphor that better explains the work itself: a spacecraft of dispersed paths, of multilinear unexpected pathways.

  2. Accidental Meaning

    Interested in the breaking and production of meanings, the non-semantic the visual, the oral, the blank page, the engagement of the reader/user in theshifting from the linguistic to the visual and back. To represent the broken and the formations of new meanings, I create an aesthetic environment consisting of a blank page/screen, inviting the reader/user to click/touch the screen in order to generate words. The installation includes a microphone to invite the users to read aloud and share with other users the experience of performing the work through their oral participation. As the user explores and experiences the work by connecting the random words appearing in the screen and assembling definitions, the accidental position of words produce new relationships, and in doing so, an on going process of meanings, connections and narratives; of shifting from the semantic linguistic meaning to the visual, from the literal, the transparent to the abstract; and simultaneously creating a poetic space of juxtaposed words, layers, and visual textualities.

    Described by the author as "an online philosophical poetry toy for poets and philosophers from the age of four up." The piece jumbles the letter of the word "meaning" in space, allowing the reader to manipulate their motion in space.

  4. Vive la Bagatelle

    Vive la Bagatelle is a short, kinetic digital poem in the Italian Futurist style, featuring the song "The Airplane" by Futurist composer George Anthiel. Through deft manipulation of Flash CS4 and Actionscript much of the prose seen is randomly selected and displayed on screen. The end result is a new poem with each viewing, every bit as mesmerizing as it is curious.

  5. Opuscula

    "Opuscula" is a different interactive electronic poem which you may explore in several ways. Inside the poem you will find four different poems with various nodes of connections to each other: An interactive poem, a ParaPoem, and two poems to be read in linear form. The interactive Poem is an animated sequence of moving and floating words illustrated by graphical effects on the screen. You as the reader will interact with the poem, by clicking on words as they appear on the screen through your reading. When you click these words and lines, random text lines conceptually connected to the word/line you clicked will be sent to create your own poem, the ParaPoem, in a transparent field at the bottom of the screen. These lines are also links which (dependent on the meaning of the line) randomly may take you to a stanza belonging to one of the two linear poems (behind the interactive and the ParaPoem's interface), to a quote, or to a word definition which all will give new meaning to the link you clicked and the poems you read. The Parapoem will be different each time you create it and can be read alone, or as a part of the other poems.

  6. Moment

    This is a generative poem you can visit for years and continue to find things to surprise and delight. It is structured around a text— aptly named as “a strand” (as in a fiber or rope made of letters or characters)— which is shaped by “aspects,” which are programmed structures that shape and transform the strands through color, animation, scheduling, formatting, and other transformations possible in DHTML. Considering there are 10 “strands” (plus a “user-fed strand”) each of which can be shaped by 36 different “aspects,” each of which can have multiple controls and toggles, you don’t have to do the math to realize that this is a work of staggering generative possibilities. Combined with a few randomization and combinatorial touches, this is a work that will always welcome you with fresh moments, inviting you to play with its structures.     1/2/3 is an elliptical videopoem based on Russian minimalist poet Vsevolod Nekrasov’s “Utopia” and footage from Mozhaysky region of Moscow. Each time three random photos containing a space where a text could appear are shown at three interactive screens. Being touched each photo transforms to video where one out of ten lines of Nekrasov’s poem appears. The viewer never knows which of these evasively poetic lines were documented or added with digital tools. (ELO 2015 catalog)
