This entry has a philosophical impact: "He developed a theory from the observation that when one is young, one thinks mainly of the future, but when one is old one thinks of the past; Namely that there has to be a moment in a persons life when one is completely in the moment and with oneself. Now one is waiting for that moment, and one is afraid it will pass by". So begins a hypertext ("observation", "future", "past", "theory" etc. are links) that then continues in a life-philosophical way. "It is a strongly networked labyrinth with one enterance and without an exit" says Nils Ehlert himself, "the texts on the pages are about the thoughts and experiences of a main character, and are connected to each other by links associatively rather than causally. Pictures (mostly photos) and small animations illustrate and comment the contents of the texts".

Trost der Bilder ist ein auf den ersten Blick undurchsichtiges Psychospiel: Während ein Männergesicht dem Leser Erfolg, Geld und sexuelle Erfüllung mittels 'Psychographie' verspricht, erzählt ihm kurz darauf ein Frauengesicht, dass Psychographie unsinnig sei. Dann soll der Leser ein paar Fragen beantworten und sich damit eine schöne Trostgeschichte auswählen. Doch: "Der Trost der Geschichten liegt nun darin, daß nichts passiert. Die sich ankündigende Katastrophe tritt nicht ein oder bleibt nahezu folgenlos. Die geschilderten Nicht-Ereignisse zeugen von genauer Beobachtung und sind ebenso präzis geschrieben", so Susanne Berkenheger.

Quam Artem Exerceas? (Latin for "what do you do for a living?") refers to a question the physician Bernardino Ramazzini, also known as "the father of occupational medicine", often asked his patients to identify work-related causes of diseases they presented with. The work is a scholarly hypertext essay that represents aspects of scientific historiography and aims for maximum scholarly clarity and cohesion.
With the use of a navigation pane on the left side of the screen, users can traverse the different contextual sections of the treatise easily and can learn about enlightenment thought, early industrial inventions, and early modern litterature art.

Completing the Circle
Completing the Circle is a hypertext fiction about the recovery of a man known as Haller, the victim of a traffic accident in which he lost his partner. Within the narrative he also tries to get in contact with his wife, Christina. This is made difficult, however, as he is suffering from head trauma which causes problems for him when he tries to remember and understand what surrounds him.
In this creative work, users can interact and scroll through the hypertext by clicking the backspace key or by clicking one of the many links that are hidden throughout the text.
