    Revista de Letras aims to establish a forum for discussion of literature, emphasizing the critical and literary theory in its various theoretical and methodological comprehensiveness. Areas of knowledge directly related to literary theory and criticism, such as sociology, philosophy, psychoanalysis, may also offer significant contributions to literary studies and will be accepted for publication. As a forum for discussion of literature, the Revista de Letras does not favor any approach or critical theory in particular, encouraging the diversity of approaches and theoretical and methodological approaches in dealing with the literature.

  2. Literatura y Lingüística

    Literature and Linguistics (L&L) is an academic journal aiming at publishing original articles of literature and linguistic areas coming from research authors’ doctorate projects with internal or external funding (FONDECYT and others). Scholarly contributions, namely reviews and articles are also accepted.

    Literature articles must be linked to cultural issues affecting American, Caribbean, and Brazilian arts and humanities. The purposes of these papers should promote new knowledge and update proposals on the various themes influencing literary studies. Similarly, L and L publishes articles that connect to other areas, such as, aesthetics, film, performance, gender studies, newspapers, among others.

    The academic journal board is committed to distributing and outstanding articles promoting new knowledge and attracting scholarly attention by investigating and challenging assumptions and conclusions which are relevant within various linguistic disciplines.

    EJES presents work of the highest quality in English literature, linguistics and cultural studies from the multidisciplinary and multicultural perspective that characterises the study of English in Europe. The aim of the journal is to publish substantial scholarly and critical interventions in a fast-developing field and thereby itself to influence the agenda in its disciplines. A research journal, written by and for specialists from all parts of the disciplinary spectrum of English Studies in Europe and beyond, EJES is also addressed to academics interested in the dialogical and plurivocal development of their subject and are interested in innovative work outside their own area of expertise. To this end, it also offers non-specialists examples of recent approaches and new ways of conceiving and engaging the field of English studies. The journal places a high premium on readability, discussion of controversial issues, and the inclusion of a wide range of disciplinary, cultural and theoretical perspectives.
