   I mellom tiden er et hypertekstuelt nettkunstverk bestående at statiske og dynamiske elementer, lyd, skrift, bilde, video og grafikk. Verket er sentrert rundt fire temaer; venner, alene, familie og elskere. Ved å traversere verket får leseren mulighet til å oppleve ulike hverdagslige aspekter i livet, på tvers av de fire temaene. Gjennom sampling og et samspill mellom temaer, stemninger, modaliteter, sjangrer og ulik grad av brukerstyring framstiller I mellom tiden en mangefasettert og kompleks estetikk, der ulike livsverdener interagerer med hverandre, der det virkelige møter det kunstige, det private møter det offentlige, og der det åpne møter det dunkle. 2. My Name is Captain, Captain

   My Name Is Captain, Captain is a collaborative poem written in a language of word and image. The central metaphor is dead reckoning navigation, and the work as a whole has a peculiar relationship to the golden age of flight.

3. Amor de Clarice

   Following Genette's forms of paratextuality, the process of quoting or re-writing in this poem involves a hypotext - the antecedent literary text (Clarice Lispector's "Amor") - and a hypertext, that which imitates the hypotext (the poem "Amor de Clarice"). Both hypotext and hypertext were performed and recorded by Nuno M. Cardoso, and later transcribed within Flash, where the author completed the integration of sound, animation, and interactivity. Following the hypotext/hypertext ontology, there are two different types of poems. In half of them (available from the main menu, on the left), the main poem (the hypertext) appears as animated text that can be clicked and dragged by the reader, with sounds assigned to the words. In these poems, the original text (the hypotext) is also present, as a multilayered, visually appealing, but static background. The sound for these movies was created by Carlos Morgado using recordings with readings of the poem.

4. The Wave

   The Wave Electronic Illuminated Hypertext is a multisensory etext derived from a series of new media performances. The work explores and articulates a collection of meditations on myth, metaphor, and digital embodiment.

   An interactive assemblage of images, videodance, sound, animation, iconography, and text, The Wave creates an electronic architecture of hyper-dimensional poetic language. This electronic architecture expands and redefines the dramatic text as a fluid, animated, interactive infrastructure that exists in a liminal hyperspace between text and performance. The work expands and redefines the dance as dynamic, sensate, experiential process of inner transformation integrating the mind, body, and senses in metaphorical movement.

5. tExtra.Tour (tExtra.Touren)

   tExtra.Touren is a collection of experimental literary works gassners oliver. Besides the known projects for the internet that use textual and visual elements, the hyper-literary edition including recent mail and copy-art projects as well as audio recordings of lectures. tExtra.Touren share consists of the "paper-copy mail.art ---. txt ---. --- sound. html". there go the early work seamlessly into the network since 1983 literary work on since 1996. all work gassners, whether on paper, as a copy, fax, mail or digital network literature, provide a kind of media-hacking: using simple means, the medium broken, to bring its procedures have revealed. gassner initiated a new poetics of writing, under network conditions, which can break the language use. 6. Apparitions inquiétantes

   Apparitions inquiétantes est un récit hypertextuel, paru en format feuilleton de 1998 à 2000. Débutant par l'assassinat d'un médecin au bord de sa piscine, l'univers diégétique du récit s'ouvre considérablement sur un panorama de personnages étranges et variés. 7. Intertwingling

   INTERTWINGLING is a work for the web and for live performance, which involves hypertext and improvised music. The hypertexts are very diverse and include aphorisms, parodies, poems, fragments of narratives, and quotations. These are connected by hyperlinks, which allow the screener to take many different pathways through the work, so each screening will be different (and not all will include every text). In a live performance, the improvising musicians must respond to the hypertexts sonically, but they can do so in any way they choose. The hypertexts were written and visually designed by Hazel Smith, with image backgrounds supplied by Roger Dean. The sound is taken from a live performance of the work, given in December 1998 at the Performance Space, Sydney, which involved extensive digital processing of electronic and acoustic sound, played by the austraLYSIS Electroband (Roger Dean, Sandy Evans, and Greg White). The recorded sound has been slightly edited, and is presented playing both forwards and backwards, in streaming audio.
