    “Alletsator” is a hypermedia work that is best defined as a quantum opera, or perhaps in the final analysis a game – interactive, three-dimensional – where the present and the virtual intersect and mix. A hybrid hypermedia, therefore, in which the “spectactor” (immersed in an environment that is intended to be cosmic, magical, fantastic, dreamlike ...) is challenged to traverse the surface of a sequence of drawings. The work is a journey without ending. “Alletsator” is a computer generated narrative that allows an infinite potential of combinations. It is also an object of the new media art. It is a product and agent of the cyber culture that promises to revolutionize the world as we know it. The dramaturgy it needs is already anticipated in the metaphor that better explains the work itself: a spacecraft of dispersed paths, of multilinear unexpected pathways.

  2. Spamology

    Spamology is a live audiovisual representation of word frequencies in spam e-mail messages.

    The visualization is based on analysis of a private archive of spam messages which were collected during 10 years (1998-2007), containing up to 2,000,000 emails originated from various parts of the world. Spam data is visualized in a 3D landscape, where popular words are represented as rectangular structures of various heights, illustrating the occurrence rate of each word in the archive year. Next to the visual representation, each word generates an audio signal with a frequency related to the number of times it occurred during a certain year. Words of various frequencies flow through the 3D landscape simultaneously, forming a constantly-changing sonic texture.

    Spamology is a part of ongoing research examining the nature of Spam as a digital-cultural phenomenon. The project aims at visualizing the links and interrelationships between the contents of spam, the user/ individual and the society, by revealing patterns which may reflect cultural and social trends, behaviors and variations.

  3. The Poetry Cube

    This is a gateway for print poets into the e-poetry world, helping them translate their poetic text into a 3-dimensional, multi-linear an recombining format.

    The cube consists of four sides top, bottom, front, and back. Between each of this esides are four stanzas, or four sets of four lines. The poet writes a 16 line poem and enters it into the form. Thoe lines are then automatically entered into the cube and can be saved into the database. 

    When writing a poem for this cube, the poet must think of how the poem will fit and the recombine in the cube. As you turn the cube, the lines move as well.  For example the 1st, 5th, 9th and 13th lines form the top of the cube, with the shallow meiddle, deep middle and the back lines changing as well.
