  2. La Huella de Cosmos

    Hypermedia novel.

In the collective novel La huella de Cosmos [The Trace of Cosmos] which Domenico Chiappe directed in 2005, we differentiated between the space dedicated to the novelistic work written for the reader, and the zone in which participants discussed and offered their ideas. In the discussion forum every proposal was offered up for debate. And it was from this zone that the hypermedia texts which would be published as chapters of the said novel emerged. In this project, the free participation of all the interested parties was combined with the existence of a director who could suggest the development of certain plot-lines and who edited the definitive texts, seeking to give them a unified style.

  4. ID_Xor.cism_

_ID_Xor-cism_ is a scrollable poem, that " invokes a reformatted body that simultaneously hijacks the dead visual space of the browser window and the "curling geo_edges" of sampled skin, reminiscent of the detached virtual flesh-ovoid we see in the old "floating finger trick."
(Source Helen Burgess, University of Maryland.)
_ID_Xor-cism_ featured as part of "Notes From the Underground" at Federation Square, Melbourne in 2009, as well as the online exhibition space for experimental digital work "Binarykatwalk".

  5. Soft Cinema: Navigating the Database

Soft Cinema: Navigating the Database is a DVD release with a movie series generated with the Soft Cinema software.

The three films presented on the DVD reference the familiar genres of cinema, the process by which they were created and the resulting aesthetics fully belong to the software age. They demonstrate the possibilities of soft(ware) cinema - a 'cinema' in which human subjectivity and the variable choices made by custom software combine to create films that can run infinitely without ever exactly repeating the same image sequences, screen layouts and narratives.

  6. Concatenation

"Concatenation" is part of a three-work set that "provides three different and powerful combinations of text, sound, image, and exploded letters, all of which function to cut up and recombine language using code developed for Concatenation. In Concatenation, the machine of the text assembles poems that deal with the ability of language to enact violence; in When You Reach Kyoto, the text and images engage the city and computation; and in Semtexts, combinations work at the level of syllable and letter."
