   Il lavoro interattivo e multimediale Stagno è il risultato di una esperienza di scrittura che l’autrice ha  avuto con una amica. Come il proprio padre, quello della amica era morto per una grave malattia. Per diverse settimane, si sono incontrate per parlare delle loro esperienze. Attraverso brevi testi che ruotano attorno a diversi temi, si cercano di riprodurre le reciproche esperienze. Questi testi sono stati pubblicati sulla rivista Lieu-dit 19 e  hanno ispirato un primo lavoro animato, anche se non interattivo, ospitato sul sito web di Mandelbrot, che è stato poi rimosso e distrutto dagli autori.

3. Turkmenbashi, mon amour

   The animation "Turkmenbashi, mon amour" features the famous virtual character Mouchette created by Franco-Dutch artist Martine Neddam in 1997. The scenario was inspired by a love letter addressed to Turkmenistan’s dictator, the late Saparmyrat ‘Turkmenbashi’ Nyýazow. Over occasional sightings of his image (statues, digital photos, monuments) in the city of Achgabat, she comments, ironically, about one of the most repressive and least known dictator on Earth. Dealing with a highly sensitive topic, the adventures of Mouchette in Turkmenistan stages the meeting of two fictitious characters, one being the dictator, in order to convey actual information about a real country. The work was exhibited first in the Montreal Biennale 2011.

6. Don't Let the Pigeon Run This App!

   This adaptation of the prize-winning children's book "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" is a combinatory work where children can choose between three options. The "Egg" mode generates a story without input from the child. The "Chick" mode lets the child choose from sets of objects and goals, for instance, "Complete this sentence: The Pigeon wants to... rule the world / drive a bus / eat your dinner." The story is then told with the child's choices inserted. In the "Big Pigeon" mode, the child can record their own story elements and a story is generated using the child's voice along with the pre-recorded audio.
