    Çacocophonie is built with Processing and was published at DOC(K)S homepage in July 2013. On September 23, 2013, during the first debate of the ELO 2013 conference "Chercher le Texte," Castellin presented at Le Centre Pompidou auditorium in Paris three different versions of the poem: a plain and static text version, written on a word processor, and two animated versions, both built with Processing, but having slow and quick juxtapositions of animated text.

  2. Everything Is Going To Be OK :)

    Teenage heartache has become a public commodity. On social media, young people now broadcast the most intimate moments of their lives to a global audience. Context collapse has replaced the small, specific audiences we once opened our hearts to with a vast, undifferentiated swarm of humanity. Falling in and out of love, breaking up and reconciling, seeking solace or revenge – all are enacted in the midst of the data stream. Everything Is Going To Be OK :) explores this new, performative model for love and loss that is emerging in networked environments. Deploying what might be described as a “poetics of search”, the artwork sources relevant tweets from Twitter in real-time, performs string manipulation and anonymizes them, then assembles the fragments into a three-act dialogue that is projected onto the installation space. What results is an emergent narrative that reflects the new modes of online interaction unique to millennials – but also the timeless tropes, customs, dreams and anxieties experienced by every generation.

    Gone Home takes place entirely in one environment—literally a home—and relies on found objects like receipts, personal notes, ticket stubs, and phone messages to further its plot. In doing so, the game goes beyond the story’s central mystery and delves into the inner workings of teenage rebellion, marital strife, and love. Gone Home’s intimate nature, strong storytelling, and ambitious scope has garnered heavy accolades for both the game and The Fullbright Company studio, including an IndieCade Audio Award, two Spike VGX awards, and a 9.5 rating on IGN.

  4. Toiletten

    Toiletten (84 bladzijdes, knalroze kaft) was ooit bedoeld als een goed wc-boek. Een verademing na alle wijzespreuken- en moppenboeken, maar nog steeds één hoofdstuk per boodschap.

    Mijn debuutroman, over een jong stel dat gaat samenwonen in een klein appartement waar vreemd genoeg twee wc’s zijn.

    Tien jaar later is er de jubileum-app, waarin je Toiletten op een nieuwe manier leest: met focusblokken. Tik je onder in beeld, dan komt het volgende blok uitvergroot naar boven. Luister je liever? Met de afspeelknop zet je stemacteur Sjors Houkes aan het werk.
