  2. Mario Aquilina

    Mario Aquilina is a lecturer at the Department of English at the University of Malta. His lecturing portfolio includes literary theory; rhetoric and style; electronic literature; cultural studies; and writing. He also lectures at the Centre for English Language Proficiency and at the Faculty of Knowledge and Media Sciences.

    After reading for a BA (Hons) in English and an MA in English from the University of Malta, Aquilina was awarded a PhD in English Studies by the University of Durham, UK, in 2013.

    Aquilina is an Associate Editor of Palgrave Communications and Editorial Assistant of CounterText. He is also responsible for mentoring the editorial board of the postgraduate journal, Antae.

    Aquilina has published articles and chapters on topics such as style, Shakespeare, Derrida, Blanchot and experimental literature. His first monograph, 'The Event of Style in Literature', was published by Palgrave Macmillan in September, 2014.

    Roberta Iadevaia (Maddaloni 1988) is a journalist, writer and independent researcher. In 2020 she earned a PhD in Visual and Media Studies at IULM - International University of Languages and Media of Milan, with a research focusing on the history of Italian electronic literature. She co-curated several events held in Italy related to e-lit and digital culture. Her essays on the same fields have been included in Italian and international publications. Her last essay Per una storia della letteratura elettronica italiana (For a History of Italian Electronic Literature) was published in November 2021 by Mimesis Edizioni. She is member of Electronic Literature Organization (ELO) and co-founder of LEI - Letteratura Elettronica Italia

She has published articles about digital literacy, citizen journalism, videogames for the military and emergency first-responders, government websites and YouTube channels, state-funded distance learning efforts, national digital libraries, political blogging, congressional hearings on the Internet, and the role of gender and sexuality in technoculture.
