L.A.I.R.E.
L.A.I.R.E. was established in 1989 and stands for "Lecture - Art - Innovation - Recherche -Écriture". It was an association of innovative writers including Claude Maillard, Tibor Papp, Philippe Bootz, Jean-Marie Dutey and Frédéric de Velay, who saw animated poetry as a third wave in the domain of digital poetryu (or "poésie númerique"). According to Alain Vuillemin, L.A.I.R.E. was later renamed Mots-Voir.

Laboratoire Musique et Informatique de Marseille (MIM)
MIM was established in 1984 as a need to create in Marseille a tool for pluridisciplinary research on music and contemporary musical practices. The lab brings together areas of creation and theory in composition, at the intersection of new technologies, arts and sciences, such as visual arts, multimedia, dance, digital poetry, literature, etc.
