    The Accidental Artist was an ongoing exhibition in Second Life at Odyssey, June 2008 - January 2009, by Alan Sondheim, with help from Sugar Seville, Azure Carter, Gary Nanes, Sandy Baldwin, and Frances van Scoy at the Virtual Environments Laboratory, West Virginia University, Morgantown, West Virginia. The show changed daily and the gave me an opportunity to study the phenomenology of a virtual world in relation to avatar-human objectivity. The following texts were written during the generation of the show.

    Marcel Spalding's Um Estudo em Vermelho (in English, A Study in Scarlet) is a detective story with eight possible endings, which are defined by the reader's choices in three decisive moments. The technique used is the combinatorial analysis in order to make the endings have straight relation with the path chosen by the reader along the reading.

  9. Radiant Copenhagen

    A collaborative fictional description of a future Copenhagen told in descriptions of places on a satellite map of Copenhagen. The title is a play upon the PR organisation Wonderful Copenhagen. A bus tour of Copenhagen with readings from the work was organised in March 2009.
