1. M.M. et brevprojekt

   M.M. is a poetic project on a poem from Moestrups collection Golden Delicious. Moestrup sent the poem to 300 persons with the initials M.M. in and around Copenhagen. She retrieved 57 of them, each writing the original M.M (Selvportræt) poem in their own handwriting. They are now published on Afsnit P and manually in the +Laboratorium.

2. Cannibal Dreams

   This elegant hypertext poem consists of 28 links arranged on an excerpt from a book on bone biology. The links are barely distinguishable from the rest of the text, yet lead to poetic language that forms a distinctive contrast to the scientific text in the paragraph. The relation between the two texts isn’t simply tonal counterpoints: they are deeply interconnected, metaphorically and especially thematically.

3. Catharsis

   This hypertext poem takes a simple concept and makes it a tour de force. Each word is a link to an image, not of any image, but of photographs which use blurred motion and other effects to convey a sense of speed and evoke the speaker’s tone. The title suggests that either the speaker is in need of catharsis, or the poem itself is the cathartic artistic expression.

   This work is a series of live Twitter performances of characters, each of which has an account and interacts in this social network to form what Breeze describes as a “socumentary.” “A “socumentary” is an entertainment form that merges Choose Your Own Adventure /Alternate Reality Drama/Social Game and Social Networking conventions. The result is a type of synthetic mockumentary that exists entirely within social media formats.

8. Socrates in the Labyrinth

   Socrates in the Labyrinth is a wide-ranging exploration of the relationships between hypertext, thought, and argument. Does hypertext present alternatives to the logical structures of if-then, claim and support? Is hypertext a mere expository tool, that cannot alter the essence of discussion and proof? Or is hypertext essentially unsuited to rigorous argument?

   Kolb's discussion is a nuanced, creative approach to these and other questions. Kolb points up the history of nonlinearity in philosophical work, from the Socratic dialogues through Hegel, and the variety of forms that philosophical discussion can take. Kolb's discussion -- and the structures of Socrates itself -- show that hypertext is not only a "super-encyclopedia" that leaves the essence of argument unchanged. But his keen understanding of both hypertext and postmodernism also shows that the relation between hypertext and "the end of the text" is more complex than is sometimes claimed. Socrates in the Labyrinth embodies several hypertext structures showing possibilities for writing and thought in the new medium.

    Recits voisins est le premier module mis en ligne sur oVosite. C'est aussi le plus complexe. Cet espace de lectures relie huit nouvelles autonomes en même temps qu'elles sont reliées entre elles par les destins croisés de personnages, associations poétiques ou élements naturels communs.

    Cet espace a été écrit et conçu à douze mains, six corps et têtes, et repose sur près de quatre cent cinquante liens répartis dans mille deux cent fichiers. Plus simplement, il s'agit d'un hypertexte qui ne renie pas la linéarité narrative mais tisse des passages latéraux…
