The Aleph
The Aleph is his initial project attempting to observe and understand the world through photographs on the Web. The Aleph system collects photographs tagged with certain words or phrases, extracts a given number of faces from them, and composes a collective face in realtime. "10000 Faces at Funeral, The Aleph" and "10000 Faces at Birthday Party, The Aleph" are companion pieces created by the system using 10,000 faces extracted from photos tagged 'funeral' and 'birthday party,' respectively.

Don't Let the Pigeon Run This App!
This adaptation of the prize-winning children's book "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus" is a combinatory work where children can choose between three options. The "Egg" mode generates a story without input from the child. The "Chick" mode lets the child choose from sets of objects and goals, for instance, "Complete this sentence: The Pigeon wants to... rule the world / drive a bus / eat your dinner." The story is then told with the child's choices inserted. In the "Big Pigeon" mode, the child can record their own story elements and a story is generated using the child's voice along with the pre-recorded audio.

Text-n-FX: A Reading Machine
Text ‘n FX is a DJ mixer for text. It is a prototype machine developed in the 80’s for the emerging practice of Hip-Hop. Instead of a DJ mixing two records together, the designers of the device proposed the idea of a Text-Jockey (TJ). The TJ acted as a machine-assisted poet mashing up lyrics read from two floppy disks in real-time using statistics, Natural Language Processing (NLP) and cut-up techniques from experimental literature. The product never made it to market but it exists today as a media-archaeological curiosity.

Stories Unbound
"Stories Unbound" is an application commissioned by the Melbourne Writers’ Festival that allows anyone to read and write stories about anything they choose, and tag them with GPS coordinates. Locations are the places where the writer/participant happens to be located geographically. Connections between stories and place happen accidentally. Stories Unbound does not create a curated space for literature."

Post-memoires
Post-mémoires est un projet d'autoportrait littéraire et graphique. Les post-mémoires sont des souvenirs condensés en micro-récit, inscrits sur un post-it, qui s'affichent sur différentes interfaces. Ces feuillets sont ici réunis dans une application tridimensionnelle où se dessine mon visage. Par ses mouvements dans l’espace d’exposition, le visiteur peut survoler cette surface et parcourir ainsi des visions de mon enfance. Face projette le temps dans l'espace en modelant mon visage avec mes souvenirs. Façade est une interface d'écriture pour moi, et de lecture pour vous. Facettes mélange mes souvenirs enfouis pour révéler l'inatendu du surgissement. Le galerie facebook ouvre un espace discutable. La préface explicite mon intention de partager une expérience intime. Ainsi, le projet Post-mémoires relève autant de l'entreprise autobiographique que de la recherche d'une forme singulière de langage. Mémoire Une entreprise autobiographique est un travail de sélection et d’organisation de souvenirs qui vise à recomposer une mémoire dans un sens chronologique afin d’apporter un témoignage personnel ou historique.

Derby [2061]
A science fiction story set in the town Derby in the year 2061, told through Foursquare. Fictional venues were created in the same geographical location as existing places, and the story's protagonist, "Girl X", left tips in the places, which read together tell a story of the future world. For instance, the university student centre has a double called the [2061] Pre-Freedom Public Service Centre, where Girl X's tip explains: "Before you're a free citizen you have to go here. It's kind of like school, but since knowledge is now installed rather than learned, it's more like medical and social public service..."

Flu
[ flu = lecture performative de flux erratiques ] Opus n° 3 de la série des flux, flu est constitué de la lecture performative scénique d'un texte sur prompteur numérique fait de flux erratiques viraux. flu, c'est la grippe, "l'influenza", son mode viral, contaminant, qui est aussi celui du langage. Dans ce récit de 12 minutes, un homme et une femme dérivent amoureusement sur une plage, ils se livrent durant ce temps à un jeu de creusement de la langue à partir du test de l'alouette. « ... ici le flux textuel erratique est reprojeté sur le retour vidéo, il lit et découvre du même mouvement, c’est ce qui donne cette très belle incantation à la voix perpétuellement dans l’imprédictible... » François Bon. Le test de l'Alouette est un test de lecture de Pierre Lefavrais (1965) qui permet d'évaluer le niveau de décodage lexical (automaticité). Il sert de dépistage de la dyslexie. Il est ici mise en abîme de la performance elle-même car flu (comme les précédentes flow et flog) est une lecture rapide d'après prompteur sur écran qui met en péril la lecture, poussée à ses limites.
