SoftCult Review Journal
The SoftCult Review Journal is a digital open peer-reviewed experimental place dedicated to analyse the so called Software Society. It is also dedicated to think of software as a layer that permeates all areas of contemporary societies. Following Lev Manovich’s ideas, if we want to understand contemporary techniques of control, communication, representation, simulation, analysis, decision-making, memory, vision, writing, and interaction, our analysis can’t be complete until we consider the language of software. The journal is edited by the Software Studies Laboratory at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF).
