Nichole Arvin
Short biography:
Nichole Arvin is a Brooklyn based artist working in video, imaging, sculpture and performance. Her hybrid art practice centers on disrupting perception and often uses improvisational structures. She uses directed chance in order to investigate possibilities through the movement and impulse of the body through collage techniques and the interplay of 2 and 3D structures.
Her work has been exhibited and performed at a variety of venues including the New York International Fringe Festival, In/OUT Digital Performance Festival, Abrons Art Center, Incubator Arts Project at St. Mark’s Church as well as in other art spaces throughout Brooklyn. She has an MFA in Digital Arts from Pratt Institute.
