Katherine Rong Jin
Short biography:
Katherine Jin is a visual artist and designer. Her artistic practice focuses on digital media, interactive design, photography, and video. She has illustrated a children’ book called Sam and Nate, worked as a freelance designer for major arts organizations like Harbourfront in Toronto, and for universities in the U.S. Her most recent gallery show was for a three-channel video installation called Dorothy's Mirror (with Carolyn Guertin). She has degrees in Fine Arts from the Central Academy of Fine Arts, in New Media Design from Sheridan College, and an MFA in Arts and Technology from the University of Texas at Dallas where she majored in Photography and Design-Based Media.
