Kate Palermini
Growing up as the daughter of a graphic designer, I gained a passion for concept, color and design at a very young age. My bedtime stories were about color theory, light addition and subtraction, and pigments rather than the normal "princesses, white knights, and dragons". This gave me a background that allows me to take a concept all the way from the initial idea faze through it's completion. I am passionate about making sure the design not only tells the necessary story, but showcases the brand. I would love to work with you on your next idea or project!
I am currently a student in the Creative Media and Digital Culture program at Washington State University Vancouver where I am majoring in Digital Technology and Culture. My focus is on design, web development, and project management. I live in the city of Vancouver with my husband of 14 years and my two dogs. Aside from designing, I enjoy reading, playing video games, and hanging out with my social group. I am currently interested in virtual reality design and have applied for a summer grant that would allow me to create a interactive, multimedia art piece for the Oculus Rift.
