    Daniele Giampà was born and raised in the city of Zürich (CH) where he attended Swiss obligatory school and Italian high school. At the age of 18, he started getting interested in humanistic studies and foreign languages. At the University of Zürich, he was mainly interested in finding a combination between philology and social sciences which eventually resulted in a research study of electronic literature in which he analysed the interplay of literature, linguistics and New Media. He graduated from University in 2013 with an MA in Italian and Spanish Philology and a Master thesis about electronic literature in Italy titled "Beyond the Boundaries of the Book. Italian Literature in the Digital Age".

  4. Rafaël Rozendaal

    Rafaël Rozendaal is a visual artist who uses the internet as his canvas. His artistic practice consists of websites, installations, drawings, writings and lectures. Spread out over a vast network of domain names, he attracts a large online audience of over 40 million visits per year.

    His work researches the screen as a pictorial space, reverse engineering reality into condensed bits, in a space somewhere between animated cartoons and paintings. His installations involve moving light and reflections, taking online works and transforming them into spatial experiences.

    He also created BYOB (Bring Your Own Beamer), an open source DIY curatorial format that is spreading across the world rapidly.

  7. Angela Gabreau

    Angela Gabereau is a Montreal-based software developer and artist who works in craft, code and electronics. She holds a joint degree in Computer Science and Fine Arts from Concordia University ("Computer Applications, Computation Arts (BCompSc"), where she worked for four years as a research assistant at "Obx Labs" at "Hexagram Concordia, Centre for Research-Creation in Media Arts and Technologies". There she assisted in the production of "Skawennati’s TimeTraveller™" series in many ways, including set design, creation and management of virtual assets and avatars, historical and location research, computer scripting, and acting. She designed and implemented the award-winning TimeTraveller™ website. She’s spent the last few years sharpening her software architecture chops in various Montreal start-ups, and is currently employed at Fabule Fabrications, an open hardware start-up making expressive devices for the home. Angela also teaches programming classes for artists at "Eastern Bloc", a new media gallery and hacker-space.

  8. Radoslav Rochallyi

    Radoslav Rochallyi, PhD., Was born on May 1, 1980, in Czechoslovakia in a family with Rusyns and Hungarian roots. He is a Czech-based artist (philosopher, writer, painter, and poet). The author finished his studies in Philosophy at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Presov (1999–2005) and completed postgraduate Ph.D. studies. Later studied mathematics: Linear Algebra. Rado has presented his visual work internationally. He is the author of fourteen books. His math- visual works have been accepted in many institutions, and galleries. His visual poetic equations have also been published in many journals, for example in anthologies and journals published at Stanford University, California State University, Dixie State University, Olivet College, or Las Positas College.
