    Алексей Караковский — прозаик, поэт, музыкант, публицист, переводчик. Родился в 1978 году в Москве. В 1996-2002 много путешествовал автостопом. В 2000 году закончил факультет педагогики и психологии Московского Педагогического Государственного Университета по специальности социальный педагог, психолог; позднее закончил аспирантуру, но от защиты диссертации отказался. Произведения публиковались в журналах «Крещатик», «Сибирские огни», «День и ночь», «Октябрь», «Дети Ра», «Кольцо А», и др., в литературной периодике Германии и Израиля, самиздате. С 2007 года — член Союза писателей Москвы. Основал ряд литературных проектов, самыми крупными из которых являются литературный Интернет-журнал «Точка Зрения» (2000), литературный журнал «Контрабанда» (2007), литературный конкурс произведений о музыке «Бекар» (2001). Кроме того, с ноября 1998 года по март 1999 года, вёл литературную страничку в газете «Бард’Арт», пропагандируя творчество молодых авторов. В 2006-2007 гг. работал шеф-редактором Интернет-журнала молодых писателей России «Пролог».

    Angela’s research in acoustic ecology, counter-mapping, and ecopoetics informs her artistic output. She is the recipient of a Chalmers Arts Fellowship (Canada, 2009) and held the prestigious position of Arts Queensland Poet-in-Residence (Australia, 2012). In 2013, her work Áfall / Trauma was shortlisted for the Leslie Scalapino Award for Innovative Women Playwrights. rawlings’ 2012 digital publication Gibber amassed sound and visual poetry from Australian bioregions. Her literary debut Wide slumber for lepidopterists (Coach House Books, 2006) received an Alcuin Award for Design; the book is currently being adapted for stage production by VaVaVoom, Bedroom Community, and Valgeir Sigurðsson. Rawlings is an active collaborator and improvisation enthusiast. She works frequently with Maja Jantar and Matt Ceolin. She is also penning a reactive libretto for Longitude in collaboration with composer Davíð Brynjar Franzson and new media artists Davyde Wachell and Halldór Arnar Úlfarsson.

  9. Jussi Kaakinen

    Jussi Kaakinen (b. 1978) is a Helsinki-based illustrator and graphic designer. He graduated from the University of Art and Design Helsinki in 2006.

    In his illustrations Jussi combines traditional pen and painting techniques and computer generated graphics, always aiming for clarity and insight. Besides illustrating for magazines, Jussi designs covers and illustrations for different books for both children and grown-ups. If he only had more time, he would like to draw more comics, too.

    Jussi’s works have been awarded at the annual Finnish graphic design competition Vuoden Huiput in 2006 and the Comics Finlandia competition in 2009.
