    Santiago Ortiz (Bogotá, Colombia, 1975) studied Mathematics at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia; he also studied music and literature. He has taught at the School of Fine Arts at the University of Porto in Portugal, and at the Departments of Arts and Mathematics of the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá. He has been a Professor of the Masters in Art and Technology at the European University of Madrid, and he teaches classes in Digital Design at the European Institute of Design in Madrid, among others. He is co-founder of the magazine for digital art and culture Blank, and a constant collaborator of the MedialabMadrid.

  4. Jeff Toyne

    Jeff Toyne is a Canadian composer who is currently scoring DirecTV’s third season of Rogue.

    In his music, Toyne blends orchestral virtuosity with cutting-edge music technology, creating a unique voice for each project. His feature film credits include Damaged (2014), Abel’s Field (2013), Twist of Faith (2013), The Privileged (2013), and Dirty Girl (2011).

    Equally at home in television, Toyne scored several features for Lifetime including Magic Beyond Words: The J.K. Rowling Story (2011), winner of the Canadian Screen Award for Best TV Movie, nominated for Best Score and winner of the MPSE Golden Reel Award. Additionally, Toyne has scored The Devil You Know (Investigation Discovery, 2010-2013).

    The recipient of numerous awards and distinctions, Toyne was named one of Playback Magazine’s “Ten to Watch” in 2011. He has been commissioned by organizations such as the Canadian Armed Forces, for which he composed “Splendor Sine Occasu”, the Official March of the British Columbia Brigade. Toyne is an alumnus of the Sundance Composers Lab.

    Jeff Toyne divides his time between Los Angeles and Vancouver.

She realised a number of video, sound, and interactive installations in France and abroad as Globodrome, Hypnorama, Terrorism Museum in an Airport et Cyborgs in the Mist. She has a diploma from the Video Department of Interactive Research Studio at the National School of Decorative Arts, Paris, Currently Assitant Professor at the University of Paris at St. Denis (Paris 8), where she completed her thesis entitled Utopias of an Interactve Cinema and the Accessibility of Moving Images.

  7. Matteo Bittanti

    Matteo Bittanti is an interdisciplinary artist based in San Francisco and Milan. His practice is located at the intersection of gaming, film, and the web. Bittanti's conceptual works have been exhibited in the United States, Canada, England, Australia, Mexico, Scotland, Australia, France, and Italy. Since 2012, he has been collaborating with Colleen Flaherty as COLL.EO. His curatorial practice includes exhibitions in both Europe and the United States, including the MILAN MACHINIMA FESTIVAL (2018), REPLAY (2017), GAME VIDEO/ART. A SURVEY (2016, with Vincenzo Trione), TRAVELOGUE (2016), and ITALIANS DO IT BETTER!! (2011, with Domenico Quaranta in the Fringe events of the Venice Biennale). As a scholar, he conducted fearless research at UC Berkeley, fought technological determinism at Stanford University, understood the difference between critical theory and hypocritical theory, social practice and social justice while performing as an Adjunct Professor at California College of the Arts.
