Mette Moestrup

Mette Moestrup is a Danish artist born in Århus, raised in Vendsyssel and currently living in Copenhagen. She studied for cand-philos in literary history at Århus University, and spendt her years travelling Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda in the years following. After teaching for several years with the School of literature in Copenhagen, she is now teaching with the Swedish School of literature Literær Gestatning in Göteborg.

Her work as a poet and writer has continuously been cross-Nordic. Her debut came with the poetry collection Tatoveringer (Tatoos) in 1998. She also occupy herself with mailart and netart, such as Letterproject M.M. – in Danish Brevprojekt M.M. and the collective, anonymous text www.kollektivt-anonymt.dk.
