Short biography: 

Diogo Marques (Ph.D. in the Materialities of Literature, 2018, University of Coimbra) is author of digital literature, curator of new media arts and translator of digital interactive fiction to Portuguese language. His current lines of interest focus on the confluence of artistic and scientific research, at the interstices of the holy triad “art, science and technology”. He is a founding member of Portuguese artist collective wr3ad1ng d1g1t5 (www.wreading-digits.com).

He holds a degree in Modern Languages and Literatures, with a specialization in Portuguese and English Studies (New University of Lisbon), and a postgraduate degree in Contemporary Literary Creations (University of Évora). He co-curated several exhibits of Electronic Literature: "Language and the Interface", along with Ana M. Silva and Daniela Côrtes Maduro, University of Coimbra, May 2015 (http://languageandtheinterface.uc.pt/), and "Translations: Translating, Transcoding, Transducing", along with Ana M. Silva, at ELO2017, Porto, July 2017.
